Ingredient Sourcing Without Compromise

Every meal your private chef prepares starts with ingredients we've sourced, vetted, and trust—100% organic, fully traceable, never compromised.

When a Daily Dose chef arrives at your home, they bring more than culinary skill—they bring ingredients from a sourcing network we've built over more than a decade.

Tricia Williams, our founder, started her career as a private chef. She learned early that exceptional cooking begins with exceptional ingredients. As Daily Dose grew from private chef services into meal delivery and in-flight catering, she built relationships with farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and artisan producers who share her standards.

Those relationships now supply everything we prepare. Your private chef doesn't stop at a grocery store on the way to your home. They arrive with proteins from pasture-raised farms, seafood from sustainable fisheries, produce from certified organic growers, and pantry staples from producers we know by name.

This is what separates Daily Dose from private chef services that source from restaurant supply companies or whatever's available at the market. We control the supply chain because ingredients are the foundation of everything we do.

Where Your Food Comes From

We source from a network of farms, ranches, fisheries, and producers we've vetted personally. Many of these relationships go back years—built on shared values, consistent quality, and mutual trust.

Proteins

Our beef and lamb come from pasture-raised, grass-fed ranches practicing regenerative grazing. Poultry and eggs are sourced from farms where birds have outdoor access, no antibiotics, and room to forage. Pork comes from heritage-breed producers committed to humane practices. All seafood is wild-caught from sustainable fisheries with full chain-of-custody traceability.

Produce

We source certified organic vegetables, greens, and fruits—prioritizing regional farms within 200 miles of our kitchen whenever possible. Our producers practice regenerative agriculture, rotating crops, building soil health, and farming without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.

Pantry & Specialty

Our olive oil is cold-pressed from trusted growers. Grains and legumes are organic and minimally processed. Sweeteners are raw and unrefined—honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar—used sparingly and sourced from small producers who prioritize quality over volume.

Our Philosophy

Better Ingredients, Better Flavor

Industrial food systems prioritize shelf life, transportability, and cost over taste. We prioritize flavor. Pasture-raised proteins taste different than factory-farmed. Organic produce grown in healthy soil tastes different than conventional. When you start with better ingredients, you don't need to mask or overpower—you let the food speak.

Better Ingredients, Better Nutrition

Pasture-raised meats have healthier fat profiles. Organic produce retains more nutrients. Wild-caught fish contains fewer contaminants. The science is clear: how food is raised affects what it provides your body. We source for nutrition, not just flavor.

Better Ingredients, Better Systems

We support regenerative farms that build soil health, humane ranches that respect animal welfare, and sustainable fisheries that protect ocean ecosystems. Every dollar you spend with Daily Dose supports food systems that are better for the planet.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you source everything yourself?

Yes. Your private chef arrives with ingredients we've sourced through our established network. We don't rely on restaurant suppliers, grocery stores, or third-party procurement. The same sourcing standards behind our meal delivery service apply to every private chef engagement.

  • Is everything organic?

All produce is certified organic. All proteins are pasture-raised (beef, lamb, poultry, pork) or wild-caught (seafood). We source organic grains, legumes, and pantry staples. If an ingredient can be certified organic, we source it that way.

  • Where are your farms located?

We prioritize regional farms within 200 miles of New York City for produce and source proteins from trusted farms and ranches across the country. Our seafood comes from sustainable wild fisheries in both domestic and international waters, always with full chain-of-custody traceability.

  • What about specialty diets?

Our sourcing supports every dietary approach we offer—keto, paleo, autoimmune protocols, elimination diets, and more. If you're following a specific program with ingredient restrictions, we source accordingly. Tell us your requirements and we'll confirm our sourcing meets them.

  • Can I request specific producers or brands?

Absolutely. If you have preferred sources—a specific olive oil, a particular farm, a brand you trust—let us know. We're happy to incorporate your preferences or source from producers you specify.

  • How do I know you actually source this way?

Ask us. We'll tell you exactly where your proteins came from, which farms supplied your produce, and who produced your pantry staples. We can provide sourcing documentation on request. Transparency isn't a problem when you have nothing to hide.
